For the Gardener’s theme, I chose to weave a basket purse which was a style prevalent in the 1960s and then created 10 seed packages enhanced by my grandmother’s images of gardens around the world which I handprinted in lithography. Inside each package I have planted an endearing memory of my grandmother. She was the most impressive gardener I have ever met, whereas I am more inspired by the seeds she has sewn in these memories.
