Julie McIntyre - Canadian Print & Fibre Artist

After a decade, it's finally coming together under one beautiful roof @ Burnaby Art Gallery, BC

Spent most of the holiday cutting and polishing copper pipe to build my little armature army to hang the "Travel Stories" Aprons on. Yes, that's all plumbing supplies. Each stands 53" high with sand in the base tubes and sealed (with pennies) for increased stability. Comes apart in 3 pieces for shipping and storage.

Below is the finished glove tree. (Yes you get to play "dress-up hands" when you enter "Travel Stories").

And here is an example of how it will look installed.

Now to pack it for pick up and delivery to the Burnaby Art Gallery Friday January 12, 2018.

We're having an Open Studio event with a bar, iced coffee and snacks on Sunday July 23 from 1-9 at our Chinatown Studio, Vancouver.

You may even catch a glimpse of the early workings of my new series "Ghost Stories". Hope to see you there!
